Spent quite a bit of time in early June at Ardley Quarry Wildlife Trust reserve just into Oxfordshire. It's only a 15 minute drive from Brackley and has a good selection of butterflies. My main reason for spending time there was to find my first ever Bee Orchids.
Over the days I had good views of the butterflies, many roosting including Grizzled Skipper, Small Heath, Brown Argus, many Common Blue and several other common species.
