Last Saturday morning (31/05) I popped into Bucknell Wood, near Silverstone to have a look for some Wood Whites. I wasn't to be disappointed with at least 30 showing along one of the main rides 30 seconds walk from the car, including a pair in cop.
Also about were a couple of male Orange Tip in surprisingly decent condition. Bird wise, a very vocal male Cuckoo was present, but little else other than the usual.
