August patching round-up

I paid quite a few visits to the Grimsbury Res patch throughout August. Nothing outrageous but a few site scarcities included multiple juvenile Med Gulls sightings, a flyover Tree Pipit, calling Redstart, a couple of Spotted Flycatchers and a fly-through Snipe.

Any duck species other than Mallard & Tufted Duck are notable at Grimbo, so up to 3 Shoveler and singles of Teal & Gadwall were pretty decent! A Dunlin was about for a day or two, a couple of Little Egrets unusually lingered and there was the usual trickle of Common Sand & LRPs.
